Pastor Jeff Silvernail

Pastor Jeff Silvernail, who serves as our Intentional Interim Pastor, is a native of the Capital Region. He grew up in Broadalbin, NY, received a Bachelor of Science degree from University at Albany and lived near Johnstown, NY for a number of years. Feeling the call to ministry first as a Congregational Deacon, he was led to seek ordained ministry and attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (now United Lutheran Seminary) graduating in 1998. He served long term pastoral calls at St. Timothy, Bemus Point, NY, and Prince of Peace, Clifton Park. In addition, Pastor Jeff serves at the Pastoral Leader in Transition for Gilead Lutheran Church in Center Brunswick and has a coaching practice specializing in stewardship. Pastor Jeff brings a wealth of life experience and a passion for sharing the good news of God’s grace in Jesus. Pastor Jeff and his wife, Linda, live in Scotia, NY.
